It is my sincere honor to release Ô, a tribute compilation to Ô PAON and Geneviève Castrée, to the world. I have been arranging this for nearly two years, and have never felt more compelled to do something in my life. The final product is an incredible testament to the influence Geneviève has had across musical genres and scenes. I am eternally grateful to all of the artists who contributed: Mount Eerie, Karl Blau, Nadja, Thou, Black Belt Eagle Scout, Menace Ruine, Ashley Eriksson, Cloud Rat, Nicholas Krgovich, Lori Goldston, Sheahan Drive, Le Fruit Vert, and New Issue. It is available on Bandcamp now along with a fancy vinyl pre-order. All of the proceeds from digital and all of the profits from physical will be donated to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. It is my hope that this compilation increases awareness of Geneviève’s music while getting some money to a worthwhile cause. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite record this year. It rules. Thank you for listening. I miss you, “my closest fellow Aries”.
We have fought against it, but we can’t any longer - this week our normal hours will resume. Mon-Thu 11-5 Fri-Sat 11-7. Please continue to wear a mask, even if you’re one of the privileged few to be vaccinated this early. Evie and I are considered undesirable (aka poor aka honest) so we won’t be eligible for a long time. Help keep us safe you bojos. 🎵: @nicklutsko
Great news: Microphones In 2020 (Silent Version) books have arrived. Now, please, your continued patience as we begin filling orders from November onward!
